Veterans Manufacturing & Innovation Showcase Comes to Baltimore

Baltimore will host the Mid‑Atlantic Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) event on October 23 for veteran‑led manufacturing entrepreneurs, connecting them with lenders, procurement specialists and other resources. The showcase highlights regional veteran innovators and emphasizes veterans’ contribution to manufacturing, made‑in‑America supply chains, and technical innovation.

A keynote by Purple Heart recipient and inventor James E. West will set the tone for a day filled with networking, panel discussions and demonstrator booths from veteran‑owned businesses. Participants will engage in peer‑to‑peer learning and one‑on‑one sessions to explore scaling, financing and operations in manufacturing.

The event signals a shift: veteran business support moving from just “how to start” into “how to scale” — especially in sectors like manufacturing and innovation where veteran experience can be a strategic edge.
