MEET THE FOUNDERS

Calvin Riggleman is a lifelong farmer and resident of Hampshire County, West Virginia, where his family has been farming for five generations. In addition to GreenSmith Farms, Calvin operates a food brand, commercial kitchen, and distillery. He is actively involved in veteran outreach efforts, including Homegrown by Heroes (a veterans’ farmer’s coalition) and Project Healing Waters, a veteran rehabilitation organization serving disabled veterans and service members.

Nick Andrews met Calvin in 2000 while serving in the Marines. He is a former attorney, whose legal practice was spent in the civil litigation field. Nick founded GreenSmith Farms with Calvin in 2018 to explore the opportunity to grow licensed hemp and potentially medical cannabis in West Virginia.
