Veterans Florida Issues RFQ for FY 2025-26 Entrepreneurship Program
The state-based nonprofit Veterans Florida has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for its FY 2025-26 Entrepreneurship Program, signaling an expansion of veteran-entrepreneur support across Florida. The RFQ invites qualified partner organizations to deliver cohort-based training, workshops, mentoring, business roundtables and networking sessions for veterans and military spouses, with a focus on moving participants from idea generation through to scalable business models.
With more than 6,000 veteran-entrepreneurs having participated to date, Veterans Florida outlines a mix of in-person and virtual delivery formats, emphasizing networking and hands-on business modeling as core components of the program. Geographic reach is statewide, and partners will be selected based on their capacity to provide training and networking services in multiple Florida regions.
The RFQ also establishes clear expectations for service delivery: participating veterans must complete at least 70 % of the cohort training, and proposals must demonstrate strong metrics, recruitment capacity and community connectivity. The timeline sets proposal submissions due by November 6, 2025, with awards notified by November 24. This signals a strategic push by Florida to strengthen the entrepreneurial pipeline for veterans through structured programs and network expansion.
